About Me
I was born in Tanzania, on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, and for the first 13 years of my life we lived on a farm, an idyllic
life of playing outdoors and being in touch with nature. On our farm we had a herd of giraffe who would regularly walk into, and
bring down, our overhead telephone wires (which meant the nosey post mistress couldn't listen in on our conversations!) but they have always
been my 'favourite animals'.
I moved to the UK after completing my degree in South Africa, and apart from a year in France and 6 months in the US, have lived here ever
since. A keen interest in the outdoors led me to work in the outdoor education industry, and to play there too, including many years service
in the reserve forces. I still work for the outdoor education department of a school, but due to recent health problems my adventurous
activities have been curbed somewhat. And this is the main reason for my online business - I wanted to establish financial security
should the time come when I can no longer work. Like most people I've met online, I made a lot of mistakes when I first started out,
and my main purpose now is to try and help other people get set up to earn online, and avoid some of the pitfalls I encountered.
